BLAINE, (Minn) – Defending champion Kurt Kitayama is making his third appearance at 3M Open (T6/2024, Won/2025). He claimed his second PGA TOUR title with victory at 2025 3M Open, highlighted by a career-low 60 in the third round. Last year, he entered the week at No. 110 in the FedEx Cup and became the third consecutive 3M Open winner to begin the week outside the Top 70 in the FedEx Cup (Jhonattan Vegas/No. 147/2024; Lee Hodges/No. 74/2023) and leave in the playoffs.

He is a cumulative 36-under in eight rounds at TPC Twin Cities (66-69-70-66-65-71-60-65). Kitayama is coming off a T40 finish at The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale.
