Welcome to PGA Tour Brunch – AT&T Byron Nelson Classic

The AT&T Byron Nelson has moved to TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas, after two years at Trinity Forest Golf Club. Sung Kang was the last winner and is set to defend his 2019 title.

Back in 2019, Sung Kang became the 10th Korean-born player to win on the PGA Tour and second to win the AT&T Byron Nelson, the other being Sangmoon Bae in 2013. The 2019 tournament marked the 11th win by an international player at the AT&T Byron Nelson since 2000 (Jesper Parnevik/2000, Shigeki Maruyama/2002, Vijay Singh/2003, Sergio Garcia/2004, Adam Scott/2008, Rory Sabbatini/2009, Jason Day/2010, Sangmoon Bae/2013, Steven Bowditch/2015, Garcia/2016, Sung Kang/2019).

With the WD by Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau becomes one of the top headliners to play at TPC Craig Ranch. Last week, DeChambeau regained the lead in the FedExCup standings with a T-9 at the Wells Fargo Championship. He has held the FedExCup points lead in 17 of 30 weeks this season, the most of any player.

DeChambeau is seeking his ninth career PGA Tour title and third of the 2020-21 season (U.S. Open, Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard). He enters the week at No. 4 in the Official World Golf Ranking.

The AT&T Byron Nelson is the 33rd of 50 events in the 2020-21 PGA Tour season.

Tournament Tee Times begin today at 6:50am (local)/7:50am (EDT) through 2:12pm (local)/3:12pm (EDT).

Weather: Today’s forecast calls for Partly Cloudy skies and 64-degrees with 10 mph winds. There’s a 10% chance of rain both today and Friday. Lon-range forecast is calling for Thunderstorms on Sunday with an 80% chance of rain and 80% humidity.

Field Updates:

Brandon Hagy (out) / Jonathan Byrd (in) – Grayson Murray to replace Hagy in the pro-am

Sangmoon Bae is a WD off the alternate list

Dustin Johnson (out)/Greg Chalmers (in)

Tyler McCumber (out) / David Lingmerth (in)
