GREEN BAY – (Staff and Wire Service Report) – Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love played interception-free football for the first time this season during a home rout of the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

The Packers’ Thanksgiving night home clash with the Miami Dolphins offers a chance to be equally efficient. Just don’t expect Love to scale back his approach in the meeting of playoff contenders.

“I definitely am a guy who always wants those big plays, want to put that pressure on the defense and take some of those shots,” Love said.

Love threw for a season-low 163 yards on 13-of-23 passing to go with two touchdowns against the 49ers. Still, with Josh Jacobs (26 carries, 106 yards, three touchdowns) wreaking havoc in the running game, Love found opportunities to strike a balance.

“Those are the lessons that I had to learn last year and I’ll continue to learn: just when the right time (is) to take those shots,” he said. “If guys get a step or we’re in the right coverage versus just finding those completions. Because these check-downs and just finding those completions turn into big plays, as well, sometimes.”

Green Bay (8-3) is third in the rugged NFC North but holds a two-game lead in the loss column for the No. 6 seed in the conference playoff race.

Winners of three straight, the Dolphins (5-6) are 1 1/2 games behind the Denver Broncos for the seventh seed in the AFC.

INGLEWOOD – (Staff and Wire Service Report) – Miami’s Tua Tagovailoa passed for 207 yards with a touchdown as the visiting Dolphins ended a three-game losing streak with a 23-15 victory Monday night over the Los Angeles Rams in California.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill had a second-half touchdown reception for the Dolphins (3-6) after he was questionable to play with a wrist injury. Jason Sanders made three field goals, including a 50-yarder with 2:38 remaining to seal the victory. Miami’s defense recorded four sacks.

Tagovailoa was 20-of-28 passing with an interception, while improving to 1-2 since returning from concussion protocol in Week 8. De’Von Achane ran for a team-best 37 yards and had five receptions for 15 yards.

Matthew Stafford was 32-of-46 passing for 293 yards, but did not throw for a touchdown with one interception, the sixth consecutive game he threw a pick.

Puka Nacua had nine receptions for 98 yards and Cooper Kupp had seven catches for 80 yards as the Rams (4-5) saw their three-game winning streak come to an end. Rookie Joshua Karty made five field goals for Los Angeles, including a career best from 55 yards.

After Karty missed a 57-yard field-goal attempt on the opening drive of the second half, the Dolphins responded with a six-play, 53-yard drive that ended with Hill’s 1-yard TD reception from Tagovailoa for a 17-6 lead.

The Rams had 133 yards of offense in the fourth quarter but were only able to come away with three Karty field goals.

Sanders made a 37-yard field goal with 9:07 remaining before his boot from 50 yards gave Miami a 23-12 lead with less than three minutes on the clock.

The Dolphins took the opening drive of the game 70 yards in five plays with Malik Washington scoring on a 19-yard end around for a 7-0 lead. A defensive tussle immediately ensued.

After Sanders’ 50-yard field goal in the second quarter gave Miami a 10-0 lead, the Rams finally scored on a 34-yard field goal from Karty with 5:46 remaining in the second quarter. His make from 55 yards got Los Angeles within 10-6 on the final play of the first half.

Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Rams

Week 10 in the NFL wraps up on Monday night with the Rams rolling out the red carpet for the Miami Dolphins. Although the Dolphins are 2-6 with three consecutive losses, Miami is far more competitive than the record indicates since starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa returned from a four-game hiatus on injured reserve with a concussion.

Miami narrowly lost twice since Tagovailoa stepped back into the start job. The Dolphins dropped a one-point decision to Arizona and were also beaten by Buffalo by a field goal margin.

As for the Rams (4-4), they’ll look to keep their playoff hopes alive by extending their winning streak to four games and keeping their noses up with the rest of the pack in the NFC West. Given both teams’ firepower on offense when healthy, this matchup looks tailor-made to produce a high-scoring affair.

–Dolphins’ offense energized with Tagovailoa’s return The Dolphins scored 27 points in back-to-back games with Tagovailoa returning to rescue a group putting up less than two touchdowns per game without him. His presence alone tends to have a calming effect on the offense based on his accuracy and ability to put the ball exactly where he wants it to go. Tagovailoa completed 69.3 percent of his passes last season and is up to 72.7 percent this season. The Dolphins are more likely to remain on schedule with Tagovailoa, who has the fifth-highest success rate among quarterbacks with a minimum of 140 plays. When you’re picking up the necessary yardage on early downs, you’ll have more flexibility with your playcalling.

In their last two games, the Dolphins converted 65.2 percent of their third-down opportunities and 6-for-8 in touchdown conversions inside the red zone. While the offense can sometimes resemble a slow grind, the Dolphins’ efficiency under Tagovailoa makes them a real threat to opposing defenses.

We’re eyeing the over on Tagovailoa completions — set at 21.5 at DraftKings, ESPN Bet and FanDuel — given his high-percentage horizontal route connections with wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle and the additional threat of running back De’Von Achane. Tagovailoa was 25 of 28 (89.3 percent) at Buffalo last week and 28 of 38 in his first game back from IR.

–Pass defense a mutual concern Los Angeles had its share of injury woes, with wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua combining to miss seven games. Both players are now back with the team to significantly boost the Rams offense. The passing game is vital for the Rams because they struggle to run the ball, ranking 31st in yards per carry (3.8). As a result, it’s no surprise that Los Angeles has the ninth-highest pass play rate at 58.68 percent.

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford should be eager for his chance to face this Dolphins defense. According to the FTN Fantasy Defense-adjusted Value Over Average (DVOA) metric, Miami ranks 27th against the pass.

However, the Rams’ pass defense is only one spot better. Pro Football Focus offers a similar view. It has the Dolphins 26th in pass coverage while grading the Rams as the third worst in this category. Hence, we play the points.

This total opened at 47.5 and was bet up as high as 49.5 before we began to see a little bit of buyback. It’s now settling at 49 at most sportsbooks.

As of this morning, 48.5 was still available at FanDuel. In a perfect scenario — or close to perfect health for both teams — this number would probably be closer to 52. Do not pass: take the value and run with it.

Best bet: over 48.5 points (-115 at FanDuel)

FOXBOROUGH – (Staff and Wire Service Report) – Alec Ingold rushed for a go-ahead 3-yard touchdown with 4:24 remaining to lift the Miami Dolphins to a 15-10 win over the New England Patriots on a gorgeous football Sunday afternoon in Massachusetts.

Miami (2-3) couldn’t cash in on a two-point conversion after Ingold scored, but it didn’t matter, as New England failed to find the end zone on its ensuing drive.

It looked like Jacoby Brissett threw a 12-yard touchdown pass with 1:03 to go, but Ja’Lynn Polk failed to get both feet down in bounds. The Patriots (1-4) then came up empty on a fourth-and-15.

New England ended up getting the ball back with 29 seconds left and worked down to the Miami 11, but the clock hit zeros as the offense was trying to scramble back to the line of scrimmage.

Jaylen Wright racked up 86 yards on 13 carries for the Dolphins, who totaled 193 rushing yards as a team. Wright took on a larger role in the backfield after the Dolphins lost De’Von Achane to a concussion in the first quarter.

Tyler Huntley completed 18 of 31 passes for 194 yards. He was picked off once. Tyreek Hill hauled in six catches for 69 yards.

Brissett finished with 160 yards on 18-of-34 passing. Rhamondre Stevenson collected 89 yards and a TD on 12 carries.

Joey Slye’s 38-yard field goal gave New England a 10-3 edge with 11:01 remaining in the third quarter. Jason Sanders answered with a pair of field goals — from 32 and 47 yards out — to make it a one-point game entering the fourth.

Sanders provided Miami with its first lead of the season when he capped the game’s opening drive with a 54-yard field goal.

New England later made the most of a Christian Gonzalez interception that set it up at the Dolphins 43. Four plays after the pick, Stevenson rushed for a 33-yard touchdown to put the Patriots ahead 7-3 with 3:55 left in the first quarter.

Points were nowhere to be found for the remainder of the first half, mainly due to the struggles of both sides’ special teams units.

Miami had a punt blocked, botched a snap on a field-goal attempt and watched Sanders miss a 41-yarder. Slye also missed the mark, pushing a 33-yard field-goal attempt wide right.

MIAMI GARDENS – (Staff and Wire Service Report) – Buffalo’s RB James Cook tallied three touchdowns, Ja’Marcus Ingram grabbed the first two interceptions of his career and the Bills trounced the Miami Dolphins 31-10 on Thursday in Florida.

Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was intercepted three times, including a pick-6 by Ingram that blew the game open early in the third quarter. Tagovailoa later sustained a concussion when he collided with Buffalo safety Damar Hamlin and left the game under his own power.

Skylar Thompson finished out the game at quarterback for Miami. De’Von Achane led the Dolphins with 96 rushing yards on 22 carries, seven catches for 69 yards and a receiving score.

Cook — who had two rushing touchdowns all of last year — ran for two scores and caught another on Thursday while gaining 78 yards on the ground for the Bills (2-0). Josh Allen completed an efficient 13 of 19 passes for 139 yards and one TD.

Buffalo defeated Miami (1-1) for the 12th time in their past 13 meetings (regular season and playoffs).

On Miami’s first possession of the second half, Tagovailoa was under duress and tried to throw a pass out of bounds, but it didn’t reach the far sideline and Ingram fielded it for an easy 31-yard pick-six.

MIAMI GARDENS – Dallas looks unbeatable at home. Taking the show on the road is proving to be more than the Cowboys can handle. The Cowboys were thrashed last weekend in Buffalo and look to post a much better performance when they play the Miami Dolphins on Sunday this afternoon in Florida.

Dallas (10-4) is perfect in seven home games. That level of play isn’t translating over to the road. Quarterback Dak Prescott is perplexed by the difference in play.

“This next week of preparation and honestly these next couple of weeks are about figuring out what that difference is and trying to close that gap,” Prescott said. “Obviously, we’d love to come out and produce like we do at home but that just hasn’t been the case.

“So we’ve got to find out what those answers are and try to close that gap and we can’t be those two different other teams.”

The Cowboys were pushed all over the field in the 31-10 loss to Buffalo and allowed 266 rushing yards. The nature of the beating disturbed Dallas coach Mike McCarthy.

“That’s the message,” McCarthy said. “We play so well at home, and there’s just too big of a gap on the road, and we’re conscious of it. We got to be better than this.”

Earlier this season, Dallas was pummeled 42-10 by the host San Francisco 49ers. The Cowboys’ other road losses are to the Arizona Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles.

The Dolphins (10-4) hold a two-game lead over the Bills in the AFC East, but quarterback Tua Tagovailoa also is dealing with a narrative he doesn’t like.

Though he has passed for 3,921 yards, 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, the narrative is that Tagovailoa is performing better than his abilities due to having talented teammates like wideouts Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle and running back Raheem Mostert.

“Whether I’m the best, whether I’m the worst, I couldn’t care less. I don’t listen to it,” Tagovailoa said. “At the end of the day, I really don’t care. …

“Yeah, sure. I am only good with Tyreek, you’re right. That is the only time I’m at my best. You’re right, I’m only good when Jaylen is in. I couldn’t care less about it. … I’m only as good as Raheem Mostert allows me to be. That’s what the narrative needs to be. And we’re able to win games and we’re able to go where we want to go as a team. I am the worst football player if that’s what you want. I don’t care.”

Hill missed last weekend’s 30-0 rout of the New York Jets with an ankle injury he sustained during a 28-27 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Dec. 11. Hill played less than half the game against the Titans and Tagovailoa didn’t have a touchdown pass. He tossed a 60-yard scoring pass to Waddle against the Jets.

Hill leads the NFL with 1,542 yards and also has 97 catches and 12 scoring receptions. He was limited in practice on Friday and listed as questionable, although ESPN reported Saturday that the team was optimistic Hill would play Sunday.

The report said the decision on Hill would be made on Sunday.

Mostert (knee) and fellow running back De’Von Achane (toe) missed practice and their status for Sunday was listed as unknown. Mostert had two touchdowns against the Jets to set the franchise single-season record with 20. He also is 34 yards shy of his first 1,000-yard season.

Dolphins guard Robert Hunt (hamstring) is listed as out. Offensive tackle Terron Armstead (knee) does not have an injury designation. Safeties Elijah Campbell (knee) and Jevon Holland (knee), wide receiver Hill (ankle), cornerbacks Xavien Howard (hip) and Cam Smith (hamstring), offensive lineman Austin Jackson (oblique) and defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah (hamstring) are listed as questionable.

Two eight-time Pro Bowl selections, guard Zack Martin (thigh) and tackle Tyron Smith (back), missed practice earlier in the week for Dallas. Martin was limited in practice on Friday and is questionable, while Smith was downgraded from doubtful to out on Saturday after not practicing this week. On the defensive side, Malik Hooker (ankle) was limited on Friday and is questionable, while defensive tackle Jonathan Hankins (knee, ankle) was ruled out on Friday.

Cowboys wideout CeeDee Lamb is having a sensational season with 107 receptions for 1,306 yards and eight touchdowns. He needs nine catches to break the single-season franchise record set by Hall of Famer Michael Irvin in 1995.

Dallas had won the past four meetings against the Dolphins, the most recent being a 31-6 home victory in 2019.

EAST RUTHERFORD – (Staff and Wire Service Report) – Jevon Holland scored on a dazzling interception return to conclude the first half and Tyreek Hill had another standout game as the Miami Dolphins notched a 34-13 victory over the New York Jets on Friday in New Jersey.

Hill had nine receptions for 102 yards and his league-high 10th touchdown catch for Miami (8-3), the leaders of the AFC East. Tua Tagovailoa was 21-of-30 passing for 243 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Jaylen Waddle had eight catches for 114 yards and Raheem Mostert rushed for 94 yards and two scores for the Dolphins.

Tim Boyle made his first start for the Jets and completed 27 of 38 passes and 179 yards and a touchdown throw to Garrett Wilson as New York (4-7) lost its fourth consecutive game. Brandin Echols had an interception return for the Jets, who were outgained 395 yards to 159.

Boyle started due to the Jets demoting Zach Wilson. New York’s Aaron Rodgers continues to insist he will return from his Achilles injury prior to the end of the season.

Before Holland’s game-changing play, Echols intercepted Tagovailoa and returned it 30 yards for a touchdown with 58 seconds left in the first half to bring the Jets within 10-6.

Then D.J. Reed picked off Tagovailoa at the Jets’ 49-yard line with two seconds left. But all that did was set the Jets up for major heartbreak.

Boyle dropped back and made the Hail Mary throw toward the end zone but Holland caught the ball at the 1 and headed upfield. Holland navigated his way past New York offensive linemen and easily eluded Boyle near the 10 to complete the 99-yard return and give the Dolphins a 17-6 halftime advantage.

The play was a huge blow for the Jets, who were on the verge of trailing by just four points despite being outgained 214-47 in the half.

Miami tacked on a 54-yard field goal by Jason Sanders to start the third quarter and increase the lead to 14 points. The Jets ran three plays for 3 yards in the period.

New York had 50 yards entering the final stanza and Miami had an 18-2 edge in first downs.

On the opening play of the fourth quarter, Mostert scored on a 14-yard run to make it 27-6. That wrapped a 15-play, 92-yard drive that lasted 9:03.

New York’s 10th offensive touchdown of the season occurred when Boyle hit Wilson on a 1-yard throw with 4:37 remaining.

Mostert tacked on a 34-yard scoring run with 3:35 left.

Earlier, Sanders kicked a 38-yard field goal late in the first quarter and Tagovailoa tossed a 7-yard touchdown pass to Hill with 8:21 left in the first half.

Ross reportedly has been talking to multiple investors since earlier this year, according to a Sportico source.

It is possible that Ross could decide not to sell at a later date, according to the source.

The talks are reportedly intended to provide Ross with capital to invest in new sports ventures.

Ross is worth $8.64 billion, according to Bloomberg, but Forbes pegs his net worth at $11.6 billion. He is the principal owner of the Dolphins which, including team-related businesses and real estate holdings, are worth $5.24 billion, per Sportico.

In 2022, the Dolphins had revenue of nearly $600 million and an operating profit of approximately $128 million.

He is also the principal owner of Hard Rock Stadium, which had total revenues of $129.8 million, according to Fitch Ratings.

Ross also owns the Miami International Autodrome, which runs around Hard Rock Stadium and had exclusive rights to host the Miami Grand Prix through the 2032 season. The Formula 1 Grand Prix was held there for the first time in 2022.

In addition to The Related Companies, a real estate development company he founded in 1972, Ross is also the 2012 co-founder of a private investment firm, RSE Ventures, which covers sports and entertainment, media and marketing, food and lifestyle, and technology.

Ross has been active in real estate development and philanthropy for four decades. His other holdings include the Miami Open tennis event as well as investments in the Equinox gym chain and SoulCycle.

Ross is the third NFL owner looking to sell a minority franchise stake. New Washington Commanders owners David Blitzer and Josh Harris need to divest their stakes in the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Los Angeles Chargers have a 24 percent stake available.

FOXBORO – (Staff and Wire Service Report) – Miami’s RB Raheem Mostert rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns, and the Miami Dolphins held on for a 24-17 win over the New England Patriots on Sunday night.

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa completed 21 of 30 passes for 249 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Tyreek Hill was limited to 40 receiving yards but had the lone touchdown catch for Miami (2-0).

Patriots’ QB Mac Jones completed 31 of 42 passes for 231 yards, one touchdown and one interception for New England (0-2). The Patriots have lost their first two games of the season for the first time since 2001.

New England pulled within 17-10 with 11:21 to go in the fourth quarter. Jones rolled right and found Hunter Henry, who caught a 6-yard pass for his second touchdown in as many weeks.

Miami responded with a touchdown to increase its lead to 24-10 with 8:45 remaining. Tagovailoa took the snap out of the shotgun formation and quickly handed the ball to Mostert, who found daylight and sprinted 43 yards for his second touchdown of the game.

Once again, the Patriots tried to claw back. Rhamondre Stevenson punched in a 2-yard rushing touchdown up the middle with 5:25 remaining to finish a nine-play, 75-yard drive.

The Patriots’ final drive stalled at the Dolphins 30-yard line after a wild play in which Mike Gesicki caught a pass and tossed a lateral to offensive lineman Cole Strange. The 310-pound Strange tried to muscle past the first-down marker, but officials ruled that he was down just shy of the line to gain after a replay review.

The Dolphins opened the scoring with three minutes left in the first quarter on a 23-yard field goal by Jason Sanders.

Miami made it 10-0 with 9:39 to go in the second quarter. Mostert cut toward his left and outraced a Patriots defender for an 8-yard score.

New England got on the scoreboard with a 49-yard field goal by Chad Ryland with 1:49 remaining in the first half.

Miami answered with 11 seconds to go before the break to increase its lead to 17-3. Tagovailoa zipped a pass to Hill, who caught it in stride just across the goal line for a 2-yard touchdown.
